Skateboard Wars

Zoe and Noah got creative with their skateboards and put these death traps together and raced down the driveway.   Helmets, Car seats, rope, skateboards and the desire to race.  Pretty much our version of the "Fast and the Furious".

Maggie's first stitches!

Maggie fell into the corner of the cement step in our back yard.  The cut wasn't too bad but it was curved a little. And from my small medical experience, I know that cuts on the faces of girls are treated differently than most to minimize scarring. So we took her to the doctor.  I thought they might glue it, but they ended up putting ONE STITCH:)
On the way to the doctor's office.  Noah gave her a sucker to make her feel better...and it did!

To numb the area they put lidocaine gel under this clear band-aid thingy (I'm a little rusty on the terminology) and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then came the stitch. No pictures were taken during that. It was very sad! She kicked and screamed as I held her down. NOT FUN!!  In the meantime Mark took the other two to McDonald's.
This was taken the next morning. Poor baby!

About Me

My photo
My name is Maggie Jane. I was born December 30, 2009. I wasn't suppose to get here until January 9, 2010 but I knew Noah wouldn't want to share a Birthday with me. I also knew my parents wanted that tax break for 2009.
